2009: Bad Year For Celebrity Deaths


After hearing of another celebrity death, I wanted to point out how bad this year was for the celebrity world. I read that 2009 will most likely be remembered for the year of celebrity deaths.

Lets run down the list here....

1. Michael Jackson (biggest shocker)

2. Farrah Fawcett

3. Britney Murphy .... JUST happened today... how sad,, she was so skinny though.

4. Patrick Swayze

5. Billy Mayes

6. Bea Arthur

7. Walter Kroncite

8. The Taco Bell Dog

9. Ted Kennedy

10. DJ AM

11. John Huges

12. Jeff Travolta

13. Dom DeLuise

14. Steve McNair


And many more... I would have to say that 2009 was definitely a shitty year in the celebrity world.

    Whaaaat the taco bell dog died!? I missed that. how sad. I am still in shock that Brittany Murphy is dead, regardless of her weight. Let the movie marathon begin! =*(

    So true and so sad. It has been a rough year for lots of people. I feel like every time a celebrity died, there was someone I knew in real life to follow. That list is even harder for me to look at. :-/

    the problem is though that NO-ONE gives a shit about these people for 99.9% of the time and then when they die, people get really emotional about it, disproportionally so. now patrick swayze, jacko and b.murph I can understand (only because of clueless and cos she was breakingly young) and maybe a few others for some people, but it's really ridiculous this mass mourning of celebs that people had forgotten about a long time..
    there rant over, feel free to call me an asshole haha
