Earthquake in New York City?
Thats about all that happened or so i saw in DC... no damage in New York City...but still. ARE WE IN CALIFORNIA?!!?!
We get winter -- don't give us this earthquake bullshit!
I did not feel it, i happen to be in Bed Bath and Beyond at that time and honestly if it did happen where i was, I was looking at sheets and comforters so there was no way I really would have noticed.
Right before this all happened there was a fire at my preschool, so we had to bring the kids out from nap time so that was crazy...
very interesting day!

It was VERY weird to feel the earth move & watch the walls of my home sway from side to side. The fact that my kids were outside and were oblivious to the whole thing (aside from watching their father's truck shake) is amazing. My dogs didn't even react to the quake!
My parents live closer to the epicenter & said there's minimal damage there. We certainly got lucky, but come on mother nature...I'm trying to prep for a hurricane!! ;)
I had to re-read your headline in my blog roll. What is the world is a earthquake doing in VA/DC?? So strange. Happy that everyone is ok though.
I live in DC, the earthquake wasn't too bad, but it took me by shock because it was really random! Hope u have a good day!
I live in Philly, and I felt it too. I didn't know what to think of it while it was happening. I thought maybe there were some REALLY strong winds (although the trees outside looked VERY still), and then I thought maybe something happened to the structure of the hospital I work at. It was quite an interesting 15-20 seconds.
