Winter Tan Blues
Is it just me or are you counting down until the next day off or until winter break? I am absolutely. I am missing the sun, the beach, the ocean, the warm weather.
I NEED some vitamin C in my life. Since fake tanning isn't an option being preggo, I am seriously pale. I tried spray tanning; and yeah at first I was really tan. But then, eventually it started to come off, and I looked spotted. THANK GOD it is winter and no one could see that because it looked absolutely awful!!!
Also being pregnant I have had very VERY itchy skin. I have been through many different types of lotions and finally have found one that doesn't drive me crazy anymore. In the beginning, I used to get these huge bruises all over my legs because I would be scratching my skin in the middle of the night! Talk about feel like a crazy person!
So I am literally counting down until we buy our plane tickets (pay day tomorrow) then I will be counting down until February 17th when we leave for Puerto Rico.
Earthquake or not Puerto Rico, I am coming to the goddamn beach!!!!
Rainy day today doesn't help either.

In need of a Vacation
I really need to go on a vacation again. I know I just went on it but it was ruined so that honestly didnt really count. Florida is coming up the first weekend of May so that will be cool, but after that.. I want to do something... like 3rd world country again... i miss it.
There are so many different websites to find where to go and how to get there and it basically all comes down to one thing: the price. Honestly, I am looking for the cheapest way to get to wherever I am going and the cheapest place to stay that isn't nasty. So, you'd think that would be easy to find, but then you have the 5 million websites to choose from, and how do you know that that website is cheaper then the next?
I can say that I have planned MANY vacations in my time, and I have never been disappointed with my planning skills. The most important thing when planning the vacation, is finding hotel deals. There are SO many hotel websites out there and places to choose where to stay, that I have found the best deals at Discount Hotels. They literally give you everything on this site. You can find discounts on hotels, flights, cars, cruises...you name it.
Hotels are sometimes way wayyyyyy over priced and if you don't know any better, you might just pay that over priced rate for a crappy little room. The best bet, would be searching hotel discounts because honestly, what is the point of paying $500 for one night when you can pay $100 for the same exact room. NONE! Especially now a days, save that extra money and spend it on something better!
I love to travel, and it sucks that I can't as much now because I don't have that much money, but when i do get to travel, finding the lowest rates to get there, is the best way to go. I just found this website called usa.gov, that when you go there, it has a list of all 50 states and it links to the state website, which is really cool especially since it gives you a bunch of ideas to do if you go to that state.
Go check these out and get planning....summers almost here!!
Where is your next vacation to??

San Diego Advice
Anyone have any advice on where I can go in San Diego?
I am specifically looking for.....
coffee shops (of course)
boutiques
vintage clothing stores
anything along the lines of the "must see" things!
San Diego, Irvine, LAX Here I come!
I've never been to either so I am very excited!
Nothing changed with M this weekend, after everything that I did for his birthday, between the surprise party I had planned and went through with to the Knicks game that I got him tickets to for his birthday. He STILL doesn't know what he wants ... if he wants to be single or not. Or wants to see what its like to be alone.
Okay. So be alone. Fuck you.
I can't handle it. I wasn't expecting anything from this weekend, but I was at least thinking it would change somethings, and it didn't so I honestly can't just sit here and wait for him.
Although I did tell him that even if he did change his mind, I don't know if I would want to be with him again. And he wasn't too thrilled with that answer. So.
I hope he gets a taste of reality when I jump on the plane to California.
I don't care. I needed to get away. I COULD get away..and I am. So I am just looking forward to spending time with Sara and driving all over Southern Cali.
Is there anywhere in San Diego that I need to go?! Please let me know... I make my way there :)

Camping Across the US
Have you ever driven across the US? If so, have you ever driven an RV across the country? And if you haven't driven across the country, is that something you want to do?
Well it's definitely something I want to do and always have wanted to do. And I feel like it should be done in an RV. If you have an RV or rent one and have a bunch of people to do it with, it would be the time of your life!
Thinking about it, renting an RV and driving it across might even be cheaper then stopping at different hotels and staying in them. Especially if you are doing this with more than 4 people.... are car/suv can be a little small for this excursion.
So besides the normal stay in a hotel way to go, make it fun and get an RV. You can experience the US first hand. I feel like my dad saying that because that was always his dream to drive across the US in an RV with the fam... maybe one day we'll actually do it.
Campgrounds.
This is one of your options. Honestly looking at all these beautiful pictures when I was trying to find this tent picture, it makes me realize what I have been missing. Camping outside (during the summer!) is beautiful. I haven't been camping since I was in high school, and we were in no way classy campers. Just the normal stuff a high schooler would have to go camping -- booze, cigarettes, a tent and some flashlights.
RV Parks.
You want to meet people while you're traveling? This is the best place to do this. Everyone else is doing basically the same thing you are doing and they have everything set up there, so you won't be alone.
RV Camping.
If you're looking for a camping ground but have an RV, this is the site to look at. You can find them all over the US and then it also gives you different things to do in those areas as well.
A great website I found for planning your road trip is Road Trip USA, the Top 5 things you know about driving across country, and Drive Cross Country. There are a bunch of books you can get as well, like certain landmarks you should definitely see when you go.
{picture}
so if you have hit the road, leave a comment and tell your story!! I would love to hear.
If you haven't hit the road, check out those sites and consider this to be something on your bucket list to do.

Traveling is...

“Your true traveler finds boredom rather agreeable than painful. It is the symbol of his liberty-his excessive freedom. He accepts his boredom, when it comes, not merely philosophically, but almost with pleasure.” – Aldous Huxley
“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” – Cesare Pavese
“Adventure is a path. Real adventure – self-determined, self-motivated, often risky – forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Your body will collide with the earth and you will bear witness. In this way you will be compelled to grapple with the limitless kindness and bottomless cruelty of humankind – and perhaps realize that you yourself are capable of both. This will change you. Nothing will ever again be black-and-white.” – Mark Jenkins
soon...
