What are your Thanksgiving traditions? What is your favorite food for Turkey Day?
Mine:
Sweet potatoes. My favorite!!! LOVEEEEEEEEEEE them... especially with marshmellows. OMG i die for those. I like dont even eat anything else. Just those.
Before I dated T i would go to my moms sisters house, but then I would go to T's parents house because we would go to my families for Christmas.
This year it should be nice to just go and hang out with my family and be with them. I am looking forward to that.
Thoughts?! Comments?!

OMG pumpkin PIE!!! how could i forget?!??!!
I gotta have the pumpkin pie, the stuffing, & the jellied cranberry sauce. hehe. Also my family watches the Thanksgiving parade. =)
aweee nice... i went one year and it was AWESOME!!
I don't have any special traditions. It's usually just my parents and I. And my mom is the one who does all of the slave labor/cooking.
I love almost everything about Thanksgiving dinner. I love the turkey, this biscuits, the mashed taters, and the corn souffle. I'm not, however, fond of the sweet potato casseroule. Not a sweet potato fan.
I hear my mom is going to let me make green bean casserole this year. I'm really excited. I never had green been casserole until a few years ago, and it because one of my favorite dishes ever. My mom says that's blasphemy against green beans, and refuses to make it D=
I look forward to my grandma's special meat stuffing ...it's AMAZING. Since my parents are divorced, my bro and I switch off with dad / mom every other thanksgiving...so it's been 2 years since I had grandma's stuffing :)
Cheesy turkey stuffing would probably be my favorite. Thanksgiving is pretty much celebrated over here too and even though my family doesn't celebrate it, I'm invited to several of thanksgiving luncheons or dinners, i love them:)
Sweet potato casserole is my favorite Thanksgiving Day dish, but I won't be having any this year. I will be in Paris, hopefully eating fine cheese, baguettes and veal. :)
AH ull be in paris!!!! lucky youuuuu :) :)
Stuffing. Regular Stove Top stuffing. I know that's odd, but I love it and it always makes me think of TDay no matter when I have it.
It's a toss up between pumpkin pie and sweet potatoes...I'm prepared for the upset stomach :o) Have a good one!
I've only ever celebrated Thanksgiving properly once (we don't have it in Ireland, obvi) when I lived in Va. It was the tradition for the oh-so-cool (sigh) law guys to go hunting and catch your dinner a few days in advance.
So, what do I do? Use the wrong type of gun and end up making a turkey explode. They laughed. I didn't. I had to eat it.
Therefore my favourite (and only real) type of Turkey Day eating is the shredded, buckshot-strewn corpse of a dead Gobbler.
FML.
