Why is it sooooooo difficult?

Why can't everyone just be on board to flying wherever  I want!?

Everyone has a say.. everyone has an opinion... and I just want a small wedding on the beach! But then there's his family...and my family... and people dont have money, and old people cant fly...... BLAH.

I dont know why I need to make it convenient for everyone. I mean I get it but at the same time, it's MY WEDDING!!!

I am trying to be understanding but at the same time, I don't want to be.

Any suggestions on a beach wedding in the Northeast? 

That is what I will have to make my compromise on, and it definitely won't be this year, it will have to be next year in the summer. 

Winter Tan Blues

Puerto Rico

Is it just me or are you counting down until the next day off or until winter break? I am absolutely. I am missing the sun, the beach, the ocean, the warm weather.

I NEED some vitamin C in my life. Since fake tanning isn't an option being preggo, I am seriously pale. I tried spray tanning; and yeah at first I was really tan. But then, eventually it started to come off, and I looked spotted.  THANK GOD it is winter and no one could see that because it looked absolutely awful!!!

Also being pregnant I have had very VERY itchy skin. I have been through many different types of lotions and finally have found one that doesn't drive me crazy anymore. In the beginning, I used to get these huge bruises all over my legs because I would be scratching my skin in the middle of the night! Talk about feel like a crazy person!

So I am literally counting down until we buy our plane tickets (pay day tomorrow) then I will be counting down until February 17th when we leave for Puerto Rico.

Earthquake or not Puerto Rico, I am coming to the goddamn beach!!!!

Rainy day today doesn't help either.

A Beach Vacation

Finally I have a weeks vacation off! I am down the Jersey Shore with my family and we are literally right on the beach. I am SO excited about that. It is soooo nice. I got here this afternoon and I cannot wait to go out to the beach tomorrow! I will probably drive on down to Ron John's Surf shop tomorrow or so and get some clothes (love that place and there are not many of them)

It will be nice to hang out with my family and then some of my friends are coming down this weekend to go out and partayyyy. It should be a good time!

Anyone going on vacation this month? August is usually the vacation month.

Weekend in Florida

Life in Florida is sooooooo soooo different. Everything moves much slower. I almost feel everyone moves so much slower because it is so damn hot. Is that even a valid excuse to move that slow and have everyone accept it?

My best friend lives there with her husband and I went down to see them. I was hoping the baby was born this weekend, but obviously she was not :( But I did get to spend time with them so that was fun. We just chilled out, I went to the pool and beach and drank.... couldnt ask for more!!!

And we went out to dinner for Mother's Day!

And I got to see the finished baby room... which was SO SO cuteeeee!!

And the pool was just awesome..

Overall it was so nice to leave New York and not have to worry about anything or anyone. No one ruined my trip, no one gave me a hard time, I didn't stress because someone I was dating would be hanging out with other girls.... nothing.

So amazing to not feel like that.

THAT is what I wish had happened when I went to Vegas and California. What a bastard for ruining my trip. Stupid piece of shit!

Anyway,,,I am sad to be home again. It was so nice to be off and to hang out with them. It makes me wonder why I live in New York where it's cold all the time. Hopefully one day I won't be here for the winter!

Summer... Countdown Begins!

Let the countdown begin.....

3 more months!

January is over and now the count down to spring begins. I figure uuuuuusually around the end of March (my birthday!!) is when it starts to get relatively warm so I am saying about 3 more months of this shit cold weather and then its fair game!

I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT!!!!

There are SO many things that I want to do when it gets warm out again... starting with going to the beach EVERY weekend, or as much as humanly possible.

I need to make up hard core for my really shitty summer that I had last year so I need to have a fucking awesome summer this year.

I plan on going to the beach, going hiking, going away for the weekends to Boston or New Hampshire or down the shore. I plan on going on vacation to the Jersey shore for a couple of days with my family. I plan on looking UH-MAZING in a bathing suit... which means I really need to get on the band wagon and get some ABS!! lol.. I plan on buying some sexier bikinis and much nicer clothes to go out in because I will be going out in the city much more.

I wish I could do all these things now but the freakin weather really puts a damper on doing everything... It is possible to do things outside, but who the hell wants to do things outside if its like 10 degrees?!?! Definitely not me.

Like.. is it wrong to want my body to look like this?!

I mean I probably won't be able to get like that but I could come somewhat close. I am not fat or anything like that but I am not mad skinny... but I'm working on it! I should probably start going to the gym more... !

Are you excited for summer?

I just feel like so much more stuff gets accomplished when its warm out and I am always out doing things. The best part will be leaving work at 6 and it STILL being light outside so when I get home I can go out walking or run on the track and the day is still good and not completely wasted.

I think that right there is the worst thing ever because you are coming back from work and just sitting around because its cold and you feel useless and like life is being wasted away. That would particularly be why I don't want to live in New York anymore and why I wish I lived somewhere warmer, but then again, the summer, spring and fall basically make up for it because it is absolutely beautiful here during those seasons. Winter just sucks.

I can't wait to wear summer dresses again with no sweaters and I can't wait to wear sandals. I am a sandal freak so winter is tough for me!

Okay so that was my rant about how much I deeply miss summer... so i'll leave you with that.

Ah Craziness

Hellooooo!!!

I am sorry I have been MIA :(

Between being off on Monday and down the shore, and having to be out of the office cold calling new clients and selling stuff, I haven't had time to do anything. Ugh... now today we have a meeting to talk about how they are going to restructure our advertising department. GREAT. So that means more layoffs, and probably going to be huge.

Let me recap these past few days for you.

~LBI was AWESOME! I had a great time with my family and my 2 friends came down and it was awesome. I haven't been that happy in a while! It was great. I have more pictures to post, but I have to upload them on my computer at home first, so here are a few pics

We met up with my friend J from work at a bar in Seaside and had a greattttttt time! I met some peoples, it was fun :) I got pretty tan for my, as being Irish and not getting tan at all lol I am DEF tan!!!! It was really nice to spend so much time with my family, even though it was only 3 days, it was good.

And then last night I was at the Yankee Game, WHICH was awesome because they won!! And we had a great time, EXCEPT for the part where my friends neighbor offered to drive us home so we went and then he got side swiped on the Major Deegan on the way home. Everyone was okay and it wasn't that bad of an accident so they could still drive the car back home. Damn.... shoulda taken the train.

Oh and to top it all off..... T has not spoken to me since Thursday, except for the big fight that we had on Monday night when I got back from the shore. Giving me attitude the minute I walked in, calling me selfish and only caring about myself, telling me he was already gone and that he doesnt care at all. Great. I told him to get the fuck out then. So he did. But he came back like half hour later and slept on the couch.
Awesome. It was too late so I didnt even want to continue arguing. So we havent talked since then either.

Ugh ... I am so stressed! I should have never came back from the shore.

Okay now I have to go to this meeting and find out if im getting fired or not...
