i cannot believe its september already, and i have to go back to school already next week. blah! although i do love the fall, i hate what comes after it. the time with summer is always so short and so hot that when fall comes its a relief but i wish fall lasted as long as winter and then it was spring.

i hope everyone has a nice labor day weekend. do something fun and summery to end it :)

Yellow

i have more and more been liking the color yellow and i really need to start buying some new clothes.
but i have SO many old clothes and I have no idea what to do with them. Is there anywhere that I could sell them, even if its just like $5 or so?

any ideas, besides a tag sale.. because that is next! lol.

lovely flowers... it reminds me of it being almost Fall... which I am and am not excited about. I love wearing sweaters and all that stuff, but then again, i know what is coming after that.

October

October for some strange reason is one of my favorite months of the year. It's not crazy cold and it's not crazy hot. It's one of the perfect months. If I ever get married, it would be in October.

I love the fall. I love decorating with fall items, apple picking, sleeping with the windows open and lots of covers... its a nice time of year.

These last couple of days of September have been really hard for me. A lot of problems with M, that I don't even want to start to get into right now that we are sort of working on. So that has really taken a huge tole on me.

But on top of that, I really don't know what is going to happen with my job, and as much as I hate my actual job, i LOVE the people that work there. I have so many friends there, I dont know what it will be like when I leave. My girls there are the only friends of mine that are around anymore and what am I going to do when I leave there? Who am I going to hang out with?

I know that I can obviously just call them and then go out with them or hang out, but literally all of my other friends have disappeared and it's hard to even get them to go simple places with me without planning it far in advance.

I guess its whatever, and thats what happens when people move and get boyfriends and have jobs and what not.

I really just need a damn vacation from my life. Too much drama and stress. And there is only two more months left of 2010.

So... since we signed another year lease, we are NOT moving, and this will be the first time in EIGHT years that I haven't moved, I can focus on other things like finding a new job if I happen to get fired and picking myself off the ground if my relationship happens to end.

And here's to the fall......

Candle Swap!!!!! Join Now!

So I have been trying to think of something that will bring together our readers from blogs everywhere and I think the best way to do that with the summer coming to an end (on the east coast) would be to do a candle swap!!!!

Here is how it works:

You have until September 8th to sign up for the candle swap. After that I will swap your information with each other and then you can proceed with the candle swap. Hopefully I will get enough people but I think it will be a very cute idea!!

To Join...

-Leave a comment below with your email address so I can get you in and then I will email everyone to swap addresses. 

-Pass this along to as many people as possible.

-Maximum is $20 .... it doesn't have to be anything extravagant.. just something cute that smells good! Everyone can use an extra candle.

-When you mail it,, put one quote in the box... whether you hand write it, print it out,,, cut it out of a magazine... however it may be... but put one quote in the box.

Candles should be mailed by September 20th so that everyone will have theirs before October 1st, which I consider fall! lol

Fall Excitement!

I am actually really excited for the fall... Although September 1st is coming around and that is a rough time in my life from last year.. I can't believe it will have been a complete year since I have last spoken to or seen T.

This fall I am looking forward to a couple things...

-Pumpkin coffee
-The beautiful weather in New England
-Wearing sweaters and boots
-Pumpkin and apple picking
-Going around New England and seeing the trees changing
-Watching football
-October...my favorite month of the year!!
-Sleeping with the windows open

Fall

FALL! how i love you!

This the best time of the year in New York by far. Its not too cold, not too warm, BEAUTIFUL outside, the trees are changing, you can wear boots again and not sweat your ass off.... LOVE IT.

October is the best month here, although its not October yet (thank god, because that means winter comes faster), but today it feels like fall already because it is so cold outside right now.

I have crazy amounts of stuff coming up in the next 2-3 weeks its a good thing that I moved this weekend because honestly, I don't know when I would have done it.

My upcoming events.....

-Retreat with C for Thurs/Fri in upstate New York ... lots of drinkin and tanning by the pool (thank god!)
-hanging out with my friend i used to work with before he goes back to Cali tomorrow. booo
- working somewhere along the way
-Going to the shelter on Sunday
-Going to the Hamptons with S & M on Sunday night! Awesome because I have never been there!

Then NEXT weekend is a HUGE fashion weekend! Cannot WAIT!

-S and I will be going to Bryant Park fashion show on Sat. night, the Academy of Art fashion show, because my girl won the tickets!!! woohoo!

-Sunday we are going to another one but its a couture show in the city.

Serious amounts of fashion! I need to buy a new outfit because I need to look nice for that!
