It can't always be sunshine and peaches

{picture}

it had to happen.

21 years old, is not for me... too immature and it couldn't work. so cute, but not for me. i tried and it was not getting anywhere. I deserve someone who tries for me, makes an effort for me, and not just when i drive to them or go see them or when its within a 5 mile radius that is only convenient for them.

although i am really sad about it right now.. i wish this feeling would just go away. i dont want to feel bad.

free of men, it isn't that bad of a feeling. only at certain times, but not terrible...

i will deal with it i guess.

i was there once. dated a younger guy. thought it would be all fun and invigorating and then realized that it just wasn't. too immature and we wanted different things.

he will find you, honey. he will.

agreed about the wanting different things part... that was a huge part of it.

I've definitely been there---it's fun while it lasts and then its time to move onward....wanting different things? yep, totally happens.

Just recently went through the same thing. He was affectionate and so sweet. But later on, I realized that his mind was too young. I let him go because I needed him to figure out things on his own first.

And yes, I had to drive to him as well or pick him up somewhere just for us to meet. Ah too much of a hassle, I say.

Agreed... he should have been coming to me, or making the effort for me.. when instead i was doing it all. ugh

If you're not in the same place in your life, it can be tough to make things work. You naturally want different things and have different priorities. I've been there and it's definitely tough, even if you know it's for the best. Sending positive vibes your way!
