In Need of a New Handbag

I am so glad its not raining anymore.

I am the pickiest person when it comes to buying a bag. I have been through many different brands, no brands, china town bags, big store company bags, Target bags, Kohls bags --you name it, I've had it.

I only bought a Coach bag once, and I am beginning to think it was a total waste of money. That was a long time ago and I have yet to buy once since. There was this white, leather Coach bag that I am/was obsessed with, but they discontinued it and I am so sad because I cannot find it anywhere. But other than that one Coach bag, I really don't like there products. They are kind of tacky and WAY to expensive to be tacky. The white bag looked something like this one, but a much older version.
Ah love.... loved that bag :(
I recently bought a Michael Kors bag from Macy's --It was on sale 50% off. Amazing! I never really bothered to look into Michael Kors because I knew the pricing was ridiculous, but I had a gift certificate and it was discounted, so I only ended up paying $100, which was awesome. It looks similar to this except white and more square..

Then there is Kate Spade, whom I love. She has really great bags, and if you have never checked out her website, do it because it has a lot of funky stuff on it. The only thing about her is that she is totally hit or miss with her products. I bought a couple bags off of her website and they came in the TOTAL different size than I thought they would and weren't as great as i though they would be either. So that sucked. But like this bag, I like a lot; just really expensive

When I went to Shecky's Girls Night Out, I bought a cute bag from there from this place called Edge NOHO in NYC. It was a leather purple hand bag that was really small. They don't have pictures of there bags online, but check them out if you live in New York, they have really nice bags!!

I am too picky. I am looking for the perfect bag. I have yet to find it. I have looked everywhere; in other countries; in millions of stores. I will probably just need to design my own. But I have noooo idea how to do that! Any suggestions of where to find the "perfect" bag?

If only I were rich so I could buy a million dollar bag ahha no, I dont actually wish that. I really wish some celebrity would just give away there millions of bags they dont use to poor little not rich girls like me! :)

Hola Peru, I am Coming to Visit!

(Machu Picchu, Cusco, Peru)

We're booked!!!!!

I'm so excited!!! We finally booked the tickets yesterday and they were cheaper than they were last week, which is ALWAYS better :) So we are going for 16 days, so I wont be around at the end of the May.. boo for my blog and i will actually miss writing! But I will have plenty of updates for you when I get back! I am sooooo excited! I love third world countries, I always feel happier going there. I don't know what it is, I mean I LOVE Europe. I do. I've been to Spain, France and England, and it's a great experience, but when I go to places like Costa Rica and Venezuela, they just make me feel at home. 2 weeks and counting!

So I went to the pole dancing class on Saturday and it was CRAZY! It was actually like being a
We went to
S Factor in the city and it was awesome. Definitely an experience I would recommend that you try it at least once in your life. And let me tell you, THAT SHIT IS HARD! They make it look so easy at strip clubs! I definitely felt like I was in a moderate porno. Except with no men. Let me describe the room.
It was really dark and there were mats on the floor with about 6 poles around the room. The room was lit with very dim light and candles around the walls. --Such a weird thing to walk into esp. if you had no idea what to expect!
So the instructor is in the middle and you can barely see her, so you have to pay attention to what she is doing because it was like pilates but much slower and scandalous --I feel raunchy even telling about the class LOL.  I think it was a great idea that they made it really dark in there because honestly, I wouldn't want anyone else to see how I was doing those moves either! There were no mirrors either so you had to just go with your instinct. We did a lot of moves on the floor, stretches that weren't exactly stretches they were more like dances but in stretch form because it was so slow.
You get to go on the pole a bit, learn how to swing on it properly (apparently there is a way to do it and its not easy!) and that was really fun! I am not that good haha. Then the two instructors did a freestyle dance for us using the poles and the floors, and that, I felt like we were watching a porno ahhah which was very funny, but they were really good and I totally wish I could do that! That picture is of the owner of S Factor, they have them hanging on the walls in the studio.
It was an awesome experience though. I would definitely  recommend it! I wanted to take another class but you have to sign up for 8 classes in a row which is $500 and 1. I dont have $500 because i am going away and 2. I would be gone for 3 out of the 8 classes.  So... maybe next time.
SO! GO POLE DANCE LADIES! :)

Another good thing from this weekend, I was one of the only volunteers at the shelter on Sunday and it was pouring rain so I only worked with this one day Kiley

who is so great... S
he got adopted and brought back. No one told me why so I am not sure but she was a great dog. That was cool to hang out with her for two hours. Then they asked me to stay and help unload all the puppies that just came up from the south. Get this --people rent vans and bring dogs up in crates to our shelter out of their own free will. That is amazing and wonderful. I am so glad that people actually do that because otherwise they would have been euthanized.

That was the first time they ever asked me to help and I am happy that I did get to help and experience that. I love my shelter... I always feel bad when I don't go, so it will suck not going for 2 weeks when I go away. But i'll make it up to them. Bring some good chicken or something!

Eat a Banana, Drink Gatorade, Take 3 advils

A remedy to save your life!

I barely made it to work today! WOA!

I think I drank too much Blue Moon last night since I could barely stand up today without being incredibly weak and sick! That was prettyyyy shitty I must say.

We had fun though! It was definitely great to let loose and chill out from such a shitty week at work! I text my boss (who was supposed to come out for drinks with us last night but didn't) and told him I would be late. An hour later after I made it from my bed to the couch and that was as far as I could go, I text him again and tell him I'll be in around noon and I was taking a half day.

His response: "you baby"

lol because we have that type of relationship hahah.

After throwing up my piece of bread I had and slept for another 2 hours, I felt a bit better. A friend of mine text me and told me to help my hangover, do this: "eat a banana, drink gatorade, take 3 advils" I really thought that wouldn't work. I WAS SO WRONG!

I ate the banana, slowly, because that texture is just not a favorite thing after being sick. I had no gatorade, but almost instantly I was able to stand up without needing to sit back down 2 second later! I was shocked. I finally got my sorry ass to work and everyone knew the deal, which didn't help because they just fucked with me after that.

I didnt even drink that much, I had 4 beers, but I didnt eat anything so that sure did not help.
So here I am, still at work at 6:30 on a Friday, finishing all the crap I should have done this morning. But that's okay, my girl is here too so we're just chillin.

I can say that I will NOT drink that much at happy hour again!
Hopefully this weekend won't be a complete washout; it's supposed to rain a lot. Blah --rainy weekends suck.

PS: I just read this post about the game MASH and its hilarious and they have an iphone app for that! Hilarious! Read Children of the 90's blog!

Have a happy weekend :)

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

I am counting down these ugly horrid work days until the weekend, there is one left to go.
After this week, I really just want to die. Just nothing is going right and I am ready to burst.

Lets do some sort of weekly update here:

The GOOD News:
~ I LOST 3 POUNDS! Okay okay, I know its only 3 pounds, but I have stayed at the same weight for about a year now and haven't been able to lose anything (although I am sure I havent tried THAT hard either) So this is very exciting to me! I really need to lose another 10 pounds to be somewhat happy with that. But I have to start somewhere. Kudos for me!
~ I made a new friend at work, who works in another office, and is fun to talk to because they know how shitty it is to work here, so making new friends is a plus!
~ Pole dancing on Saturday! CANNOT wait for that... I know its going to be really hard and I will get angry that I can't do it completely and really well,,, but I am excited to try that out.
~ I road my bike for the first time and did good!
~ Tonight we are doing happy hour!
~ I have more followers on my blog :) thanks :)

The BAD News:
~ I still hate my job
~ I need to buy some new summer clothes and I cant spend any money
~ We still have yet to book our flight to Peru... HOPEFULLY ON SATURDAY
~ I am dying of allergies
~ I will most likely make no bonus this month
~ I had so much crap work to do this week that I couldn't write as much on here.
~ The stalker girl whos dating my ex, changed her facebook picture to look EXACTLY like mine, with a pic of a dog and all.... I changed mine because that is just ridiculous.

The UGLY:
~ I have been yelled at this weekend by at least 10 different clients because of other peoples mistakes and stupidity and then forced to fix them.
~ I have been called rude and said to be giving people hard times by clients, when they were the ones with the attitude and being jerk offs.
~ My boss tells me I am not doing my job -- although no one even knows what my "job" is supposed to do since I do so many more things that are not remotely close to "my job" that they EXCEPT me to do! Uh, how does that work again?
~ 3 of the 5 people on my team I do all the work for will get at least $2K in bonus, and me? $0.

Well that is about all i can think of. I hope for next week to be better, where maybe only 4 people will yell at me! I can deal with four!

"Let's Fly a Plane Through NYC for a Photo Op & Not Tell Anyone! GREAT IDEA!"

GREAT IDEA!
NOT.
I mean seriously? Did the F.A.A REALLY think that NO one would freak out? Are you fucking out of your mind?
"I'd call this felony stupidity. This is probably not the right job for Mr. Caldera to be in if he didn't understand the likely reaction of New Yorkers, of the mayor," Townsend said Tuesday on CNN's "American Morning." -- CNN reports. WELL... It's a little too late now, don't you think? I hope they fired that guy.
So the Air Force One was taking part in a "classified photo op", which was a secret... except for the 8 million people that live and work there every single day.

It was actually going to be unnoticeable. AGAIN, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!! If you were going to do this in a remote area, okay then I can understand the secrecy, but WHAT DID THEY THINK WOULD HAPPEN! I mean, use common sense here people.
GREAT QUOTE FROM NY TIMES:
""An F.A.A. memo last week said information about the exercise “should only be shared with persons with a need to know” and “shall not be released to the public or the media.” "

Now... in that situation, WHO exactly are the people who "need to know"? And it shouldn't be released to the public or media?! Until a plane flew eye level to their office on the 80th floor?!
Did they believe that people would just sit there calmly and not do shit? Seriously?

This makes me really angry. The fact that they don't even think to put something in the paper or on the news, they wouldn't even need to say WHY, just a heads up -- "Hey, there will be a plane flying really close to the buildings in NYC today, its a photo op, so don't freak out, its not another 9/11 okay?" No. Nothing. Something is better than nothing!

Well I hope people didn't actually get hurt because of this. I would really like to know WHY. Why would you even need a picture of a plane flying that close to buildings anyway? Are you trying to stage a fake terrorist attack? Like what is the reason behind that.. Who would even want pictures of that. Idiots. There is no other word! Well --there are, there are many actually, but I choose not to name them because I would just be cursing.

The boyfriend's knows someones wife who was working in one of the buildings that it flew by. She said that everyone in her office panicked, and her thoughts were "well I won't make it since all these people just ran down the stairs before me, so I'm just going to sit here and continue doing my work." I am not sure what I would have done. I think I might have tried to get out.. I am not sure, but that would probably be my initial thought reaction. I hope if someone got hurt that they sue those idiots for endangering their lives!

AH!

On a positive note, 2 more days until Friday :)

Ciao

The Unimportant Things

Hope everyone had a nice Monday... it was gorgeous out today and I didn't get to leave the office once. Bummer. Monday is the worst day of the week. I absolutely despise it! I need this economy to turn around ASAP so I can get on with my LIFE. I am ready to start the rest of my life.. this has been some sort of college/real life transitional period, so i think that is over!

Moonjava, tagged me in a post so here it is!!! Thanks Lady :)

Rules:
1. Mention the person who nominated you.
2. List six unimportant things that make you happy.

(1) Right when the sun goes down after its been really hot out .... its nice to sit outside!

(2) Randomly funny emails during a crappy day at work or text messages

(3) Girls nights... actually that would be considered important so im not sure if it belongs on this list ooops :)
Girls Night Out Pictures, Images and Photos

(4) Really awesome websites... that I wish I could design!

(5) The fact that Google has all of my answers.... when I used to be in college stoned and we had so many questions that needed to be answered and didn't know about google! So im glad its here now!

(6) Being tan, I always feel better when I am tan

3. Tag six blogs, state the rules & notify them with a teeny comment on their blog.

1. One Day Paris
2. Someday I'll get there
3. The One Curly Fry
4. Tough Crowd
5. *Life is Sweet*

Everyone else I wanted to tag was already tagged :)

Like the new signature? I am still experimenting with photoshop....
Also! I have decided that coming in June I am on the list to have a blog layout made for me from Sherbet Blossom Designs
SherbetBlossomDesigns
So I am super excited about that! I really am web page illiterate when it comes to this stuff. I really shouldn't have dropped out of that graphic art class in college. damnit. So that is something to look forward to. Plus we are JUST on the verge of booking this trip. God I can't wait because the planning part just sucks -- its so much research to figure out where to go, where to stay, which plane ticket website will give me the better deal with the best times AND the least layover time! AH - I just want to go! No planning. Obv that doesn't work.

Since it was so nice out tonight and I was stuck inside all day, I skipped the gym and I rode my bike (first time i have ridden a bike since like 2004 BTW) (and it was QUITE hard) to my friends house and we walked around town for a couple hours. So that was nice to get out and be outside after a long ass day.

This weekend me and my girls are taking a pole dancing class

Should be interesting! We signed up at Sheckys Girls Night Out and I definitely think I will not be able to do that! Can't wait to update that one for next week!

Good night all
