it had to happen.

21 years old, is not for me... too immature and it couldn't work. so cute, but not for me. i tried and it was not getting anywhere. I deserve someone who tries for me, makes an effort for me, and not just when i drive to them or go see them or when its within a 5 mile radius that is only convenient for them.

although i am really sad about it right now.. i wish this feeling would just go away. i dont want to feel bad.

free of men, it isn't that bad of a feeling. only at certain times, but not terrible...

i will deal with it i guess.

Hand Written Letters

i got a handwritten letter the other day from my ex. it was probably one of the most meaningful things I have gotten in a very long time. I asked him to write to me when he was away for the month, to see what he would come up with when i realized that no one had written me a letter like that since I was in high school or so and dating my high school boyfriend.

it is on a very different level to receive hand written things now because of the communication that we have nowadays, especially with texting and facebook and all that crap.

Have you ever seen a volcano?

I never had. Until I went to Costa Rica. This is Volcano Arenal. It is still active and at night you can see the lava faintly coming out of the top. A very crazy awesome experience. Not every day can you go and see a volcano.

Costa Rica was one of the best vacations of my life and I have been since wanting to go back. Their motto for the country is "Pura Vida" and I have been in love with that ever since and I have just recently gotten it as a tattoo on my side. Everyone that I met there really cares about their life and how to make it better and be happy. They can live off of nothing and still be happy. It is very amazing to see especially coming from New York where we have everything here and access to everything at any time.

They even paint their palm trees...

Both coasts are beautiful and amazing to see, especially when you rent a car and drive across the country. Although it seems like a crazy idea and dangerous, as long as you have a map and a spanish dictionary, you are good to go. I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Costa Rica definitely to rent a car, you can go so many more places and see so many more things this way.

If you have never been to Central America and want somewhere to go, go to Puerto Viejo Costa Rica or Jaco. They are both very nice places and they are also very safe.

I am finally going to meet my niece! She's 1 month old and it's her mommys birthday this weekend. I CANNOT wait!! It is a much needed vacation and I am so so excited to meet this little girl :)

No Kids Allowed Restaurant - Thoughts?

A restaurant in Pennsylvania is banning kids under 6 years old from coming to eat there. What are your thoughts on this?

I can understand where the owner is coming from, but honestly? In this day and age, are you REALLY doing that well that you can pick and choose who your clients can be? Most restaurants I know are begging for business, and this guy can just turn it away?

So I dont really see it from that stand point, and I work in a restaurant and it really isnt that obnoxious, yeah its a little more work, but hello? People with kids can't go out to eat for 6 years with their kids because of assholes like that?  No thanks.. I think its just wrong.

Gimme your thoughts on this.

Car Problems

I have been having the most ridiculous car problems ever this summer. I feel like a lot of other people have as well, but I have needed a lot of help in the car department lately from overheating, to breaking down, to stalling... you name it!

Good Sam ERS is the best place to go and they offer a bunch of different services like 24 hour customer service dispatch (VERY important, you never know when your car will break down), no mile restrictions OR expense limits, coverage in the US Canada and Mexico, and they are the nation's largest RV specific dispatch and RV Repair Network for motorhomes, 5th wheel and travel trailers (great if you are going on vacation with your car or rv or motorhome!).

If ever in need of help, that site is the best one around that I have found and I would highly recommend checking it out to see what kind of deals they have, especially the summer offer they have, and even more because cars are overheating more in the summer with this heat.

Love Rings

I absolutely love these rings.

I found them on Etsy at Elisa Gomez's shop and love it! They are $58. She has a lot of other great pieces out there, but this one specifically caught my attention because of the description about how people should only marry for love.

Happy Long Weekend

these past couple of weeks have been insane. i will have to update on them next week after the holiday.
nothing i had ever expected is happening, and now it puts me in a really awkward and ridiculous situation with too much stuff going on and too many realizations happening about different people.

between the ex, the current, and the londoner... this weekend will be absolutely confusing. and i cannot wait for it to be over.
