anyone have any exciting plans for this weekend? i have nothing going on this weekend surprisingly. M has off which is good because now he moved into the midnight shift so we dont get to sleep together that much anymore :(  but we are making it work.

i think i need a drink.

Aw California..

Last year around this time, I went to California to visit one of my friends and this picture reminded me of Cali. He lives in Santa Cruz and its very laid back and hippie like there.
This is probably the longest I've gone without getting away somewhere this year and I am going nuts! I need to get out of New York and Connecticut. Granted I travel back and forth every single day for work, I just want to go on vacation for the weekend or something. Is that so much to ask?! HOPEFULLY, the last weekend of October M and I will go to Boston for two days, and then to the Sam Adams brewery... I just need to get out of these states. Even if I am stuck in New England..fine, so be it. 


Does anyone else feel stuck and need to get the hell out of where they live just for a couple days?

thank god its the weekend!!!!!!!!

i have had enough of this week.

i took a half day to go apple picking with M yesterday. it was so fun. and the weather was beautiful. what a great day to take off. So glad I did that.

this weekend should be good as well..M  has off all weekend so we're going to spend a lot of time together. I think it should be good.

I found out I am becoming an aunt! I am so excited! V is going to be getting married this weekend but the actual wedding won't be until the summer. Every exciting stuff!

I talked to an old friend today I haven't spoken to in months, so that was kinda nice too.

I want a nice relaxing weekend this week... I hope it turns out that way.


Anyone have any good plans for the weekend?

i am excited for the weekend. this week sucked bad. i am very happy for it to be over. between the being in pain and not being able to see M all that much, especially when he was on vacation, and me not being able to drink... it's just been shitty and i am glad its the weekend and i don't really have anything to look forward to besides not being at work.

you know when you just have one of those off, shitty weeks for no particular reason? well that was my week.. except with a kidney infection involved.

ughhh....

i hope it gets better.

have a fabulous weekend everyone! i drank waayyy to much last night and am barely making it through the day right now so hopefully i can go home and watch jersey shore before i have to go back out again! i actually went and slept in my car during lunch because i wouldnt have made it the rest of the day.

so with that being said... i am doing the dog shelter again tomorrow so that will be cool and then mets game on sunday night.  nothing crazy.. thank god!

Hey Friday, I Adore You!

best day of the week by far!

This week was quite eventful.. yet not eventful at the same time.

Never made it to the gym but I DID see a friend from many many years ago when I used to work at the coffee shops last night and it was awesome. I haven't see him in AGES and it was SO great to reconnect and drink some coffee & martinis (i drank beer, him martini). I am SO happy that we met up!! It better not be 4 years until I see him again.

I went to dinner with a friend, it was fun, he's cute ;)

My job is good... a lota work and really hard but everyone there is young and cool its a soo different from my other job. Lots of potential to grow and expand and thats awesome!!

Cooking

I am cooking dinner for my friends who moved me and my roommate last weekend.

PS.... I NEVER ever ever cook... ever.

Best Day of the Week!

It is gorgeous out and I am stuck inside. What sense does that make?! AH the weekend. What a great thing to have included in my life. When I used to work full time at the coffee shop my weekend was Monday and Tuesday. Soooo not as good as Saturday & Sunday!
SPCA Walkathon tomorrow is where I'll be, although it would be better being there if I actually had a dog, but that's okay --it's still a fun event. Then maybe the dog park on Sunday after I go to the shelter Sun. morning. A dog filled weekend!
Still on the saving money kick.... although it is actually hard for me to bring my own lunch since I am too lazy to make it at night. But I haven't bought anything else besides gas and lunch. So. That is a start! Especially when its really nice out AND i just got paid and I want to go have drinks and buy clothes! Ah the urges....
Tonight the boyfriend and I have a date to plan our Peru trip! Woo hoo :)
