Aw California..

Last year around this time, I went to California to visit one of my friends and this picture reminded me of Cali. He lives in Santa Cruz and its very laid back and hippie like there.
This is probably the longest I've gone without getting away somewhere this year and I am going nuts! I need to get out of New York and Connecticut. Granted I travel back and forth every single day for work, I just want to go on vacation for the weekend or something. Is that so much to ask?! HOPEFULLY, the last weekend of October M and I will go to Boston for two days, and then to the Sam Adams brewery... I just need to get out of these states. Even if I am stuck in New England..fine, so be it.

Does anyone else feel stuck and need to get the hell out of where they live just for a couple days?

happy weekend everyone.

I love those pics, and they are reminiscent of Santa Cruz (I live in the Bay Area). I totally have the travel bug and am lucky to have some trips coming up . . . sometimes you just gotta get out of town. Happy weekend!

We should switch places! I'm in LA and so bored with it! We don't get a real fall. NE would be so perfect right now!

I've been dying to get out of NYC/NJ for a long time. Cali is where I should be living the sunny hippie life. Not here. I mean I love NYC and my town (very spiritual full of yogis and health freaks), but it's not laid back. People are so stressed and tight and always in a rush. I hate it.

Happy weekend!

Hah I'm the opposite of you. I grew up 20 minutes from Santa Cruz and couldn't wait to get out of there. Lived in New York, Ohio and now Missouri.. I am ready to move further east closer to New England!!

But I will admit this. I miss my family. I can't wait to visit them for the holidays!! yay for 80 degree Christmases!

I went to Santa Cruz for a year and miss it every day. Luckily, I'm still in California but I miss those redwood trees and warm little bagel shops :)

I kind of feel that way, especially this week during midterms. I just want to leave and not deal with it. Take me to hawaii pleaseeeeee

Yep, all the time. Sometimes, I get to take min-breaks so I am grateful. Sometimes, I have to just bear it as best I can.
Peace,
k
