:(

I miss my blog :(

I havent written about anything in a long time. I barely have time to write. And any time that I have at home, I want to go to sleep because I get home so late. This summer has been a summer of doing many, many things. And at the same time as it being awesome, I wish I could just relax, read a book, write in my blog, lay in the sun..... but it doesnt happen that way.

So I have to catch up on everyone's blogs and write in my blog at the same time and see everyone! ahhh so little time. does anyone else find it hard to keep up in their blog?

how is life?

i am in search for another job/career.  Sales is not my place to be at anymore. I want to have a CAREER. A REAL job. I have no clue what to do... I heard they are in need of nurses... but I dont know if i would like that.  Is anyone a nurse??  Do you have any advice?

What I would really like to do would be work for a magazine or in a PR office or something along those lines.... but how the hell do you get those jobs?

Ugh!

I do miss everyone so forgive me :(

Job searching is one of the most exhausting and stressful activities on the planet. I hope you find your next path easily, and that you find the time to blog . . . we've missed you!

If you asked me a year ago, I would love to work for a magazine or in a PR office too since I majored in communications. But this year, i've made some pretty major change in my professional life. I've decided to be a medical doctor. So now I'm back at school studying for a second degree in science and hoping to get into medical school.

It has never crossed my mind that I want to be a doctor. So who knows, maybe something will 'dawn' on you soon and you might end up doing something totally different and will learn to love it as a career. :)

We miss you too, I'm sure. Nurses are certainly on demand anywhere. That's what my mom tells me because she's a nurse herself. For me, still in the process of finishing the requirements for the nursing program in my university, it's tough and competitive. Some people (like my mom) find it easy and I applaud and/or envy them. I don't really have any career advice for now because I don't have a lot of experience. Hope this helps.

job searching can be tough. i hope you find a job you like. i like my job but its not what i want to do for long but i need the money so its ok for now. i dont recommend being a nurse unless its something you really want to do. there is alot of deal with and it can be very stressful. not to mention many days you work will be 12 hours days. i havent been a nurse but i know people that are. its not easy at all. i'm not sure how you would get a magazine or PR office job except for the usual job search. maybe you can also check website of places that have these types of jobs and go from there.

I love my internship in PR. To apply for a job they generally require writing samples and a resume.

Totally hear ya and feeling like I can't keep up with everything! So many people I know are going into nursing. You really have to love working with all sorts of people, and working with unpleasantness sometimes. However, you may look in areas you may not of thought of for marketing, such as a big hospital. Even hospitals have a marketing department. Also, colleges may have marketing positions. I just met a girl who was a patient at the hospital I work who works in the marketing department of a University where I live. So, those are some areas you may not of thought to look!
