I FINALLY watched Ps. I Love You last night with my girl.
Wow.
I controlled myself because my eyes would have been insanely puffy but it was ridiculously sad! I don't understand how you could live in the same place after that... I could never. I would die. It was amazing... their love and passion for each other... amazing. I want that. Not the part where he dies,, because that was just horrible and terrible and I would just not be able to live anymore!
I want to read the book now because I know it must be even better than the movie. Has anyone read the book?
I loved their love... they loved each other so much! Ahhhhh I need to go to Ireland!

I cried the entire time I watched that movie. Thank God I watch it alone.
I had no idea it was based off a book. Now I'm going to have to buy it.
The guy in the movie is so hott!! :D MMM!! lol
Oh yes the book has so much more to offer...
though the movie (esp. Gerard) is a treat in itself!
Love your posts, keep 'em comin, gal!
I've been wanting to see that movie! Of course, the husband won't agree to rent it. :o/ I forgot there was a book...after being so engrossed in the love and passion that is the Twilight series, I may need to read it! Thanks for the suggestion!!

I've read the book, and I found it very touching. I haven't seen the movie yet, though.
It's a great movie, and very touching and funny, especially karoake Hilary! :)
So I just watched UP and in the first 10 minutes you cry so beware!! I've been putting off PS b/c I heard it was a tear jerker. But I'm gonna have to check it out eventually =)
haven't read the book but must. she was 26 when she wrote it apparently - mum keeps reminding me of that. it's kind of inspiring x
yeah, that is so true... it was also inspiring... i totally would not make it through that.
I bawled my eyes out like a little baby! Haha
I'm reading it now - I saw the movie first and I've been reading the book on and off for a while now, but it's great. A little different than the movie, so you'll enjoy it!!
i've read the book few times before i even watched the movie. i've to say i love the book more than i love the movie (simply because the combination of hilary swank & gerard butler is rather, erm, odd)
and i cried even worst when i was reading the book. no kidding. i LOVE LOVE the book.
p.s come to ireland, it's a beautiful place :)
i read the book a few years ago and it touched me so much that i had a dream that my bf (at the time) had died! the film is soooo sad too :(
