define love.
this is the best definition of love that i have seen so far...
"You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before, she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She's not perfect- you aren't either, and the two of you may never be perfect together, but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break- her heart. So don't hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she's not there"- Bob Marley

So I could make this really interactive and call up a certain somebody and read this to him ;)
And how awful is it that I was shocked to see Bob Marley's name?
Thanks for sharing : )
I agree with his quote.
But I believe that love is the answer
I believe that love will find the way
I believe that love is the answer
I believe that love will find the way

I love your quote. Imperfect love is perfect.
From one of my favorite movies, Captain Corelli's Mandolin:
"Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two."
oh elizabeth!!! i was going to use that one !! :)
I was once told "True love is accepting someone completely for who they are." And I completely agree. It is loving someone despite their flaws, and embracing them for who they are, not what the have or what they've accomplished.
What a beautiful quote!! I never heard it before, but it's absolutely beautiful :)
Sooo right, and beautiful :) I'm all about enjoying every step and not overthink it too.
