trip to Boston.

Boston!

I haven't been there in a couple years! I am really excited to go. M and I haven't been away together since........ July or August? I haven't been away since then either! I am going nuts! So glad to get out of the tri-state area, even if its only to Boston.

It sucks that we are only going for one day, but whatever, it's better then nothing and totally worth being off from work tomorrow.

We are going to the Sam Adam's brewery during the day tomorrow and hopefully over to Newbury Street and to Quincy Market or somewhere for lunch and dinner. And then out to some bars tomorrow night. And Saturday we're going to meet up with my friends and their kids in Salem for lunch and to do the Salem thing.. whatever that might be.

Does anyone have any suggestions on restaurants or coffee shops or anything nice that we can do while we are there in such a short time?!

Any suggestions are appreciated!!!

Hmm..tips for Boston...
Have a light snack before hitting the brewery..especially if you go in the morning! You can easily get wasted from the tasting :)

On Newbury St, I like the Trident Bookstore and Cafe (delish sandwiches and coffee beverages) as well as Espresso Royale (which is on a basement level).

Salem is lots of fun! But expect tons of traffic, what with Halloween and all.

Yay! I hope you enjoy my town whatever it is you do!

Yay Boston! I always love the North End, the Italian section, across from Quincy Market. And the bars up on Boylston towards Mass Ave are fun : ) I hope you have a wonderful time!!

Sadly, my tips are all 15 years old, so I'm sure that nothing I remember is still there.

Just remember, it's CAH. No "R". Drive the CAH.

Omggg lucky girl! I haven't been to Boston since I was three, and I have been longing to visit recently. It looks like such a fabulous town, rich with history and awesomeness. :P
