Topic:

What is your wine of choice?!

Mine:

Riesling! Any sort of any type of riesling.

Here is the wikipedia definition of riesling incase you didnt know what type of wine it is... because I sure didn't when I was first introduced to it.
I have tried all types of wines and been to wine tasting before and everything, and honestly, after like 4 or 5 glasses, it really doesn't matter the type of wine or the color, because I will drink whatever! Lol, especially at wine tastings.
And if you have NOT been to a wine tasting, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are AWESOME!

I love wine... I always feel so sophisticated when I drink it, although it gets me really hammered, so I dont usually drink it while out! Unless at dinner,, because some dinner, just HAS to go with wine.
I actually had a great wine tasting even at my apartment last year, it was called Hope Uncorked and it was awesome. Check it out!!!!!! :) And it was for a good cause!!

Thoughts!? Comments?!

Anything RED! My absolute favorite red is a Pinot Noir, and I really like Australian reds. Rosemount is a really cheap but high quality wine, and they make all the best stuff!

For white, I like riesling too- Dr. Loosen is a fab riesling for you to try. I had it at a bar/restaurant here in Boston...liked it so much, found it in a store (Trader Joe's actually) and now buy it! :)

I love all wine but I'm with ya on the reds! I'm not picky at all, but one time I had the most amazing experience. I was at a business meeting and the owner of my company bought a bottle of $600 wine. It was absolutely AMAZING!! I'm glad I didn't get "spoiled" because I know I'll most likely never have that opportunity again (and I'd hate to think I could no longer enjoy wine that's more in my budget), but I'm also glad I had the experience...even if just once and even if someone else was paying for it...

It was WOW!!!

By name it is called Woop Woop (australian). Their shiraz is my "house wine" I almost always have a bottle at home. They have a white that is very good, can't remember what type it is.

I've always been a beer girl until this year. For some unknown reason I've been keeping wine in the fridge pretty much constantly. I'm a white zifandel girl when it comes to the wine. But, like you said, after about three glasses I couldn't care less what it is! ;)

Anything white is sooo good, and Riesling is yummy. Now I want some :)

I'm a merlot fan myself, but mostly because I convince myself it's more "healthy" because of the "antioxidants." But Riesling is definitely the most delish.

PS- love the wideness of your blog's design. And the funky-fonted posting headers!

I love wine. Paris got me hooked. I'm a rosé fan, or white...not usually going to choose red, but if it's what's being served I won't turn it down :) I will always choose anything sparkling, and I'm one of those annoying people who gets all up in arms when people call things champagne that aren't from Champagne.
Really the only wines I don't like are REALLY smoky reds. I had one once that tasted like inhaling campfire smoke, it was that smoky.

Fun topic!

I love Riesling too! It just goes down so good. I love Black Cat Riesling, but it's kind of pricey. There's some good vineyards out here and one has an amazing Traimeniette (horrible spelling) that I'll splurge on every so often. I need to stop liking expensive wines.

me too! reisling, all the way! probably because it's sweet. :)

You have great taste! I love Riesling too!:)

Riesling's great because it's sweet and easy-drinking but you don't sound like a child when you order it (it's not like ordering white zinfandel or something). Same with viognier and gewurtztraminer!

I love: Love Riesling. It's a NY lake winery... Imagine Moore Winery. It's fresh and crisp and smooth.
